From the Laundry Room

My mom called me this past Friday and after our usual update and opinion sharing, she said, “Oh before you go, do you think Harper Lee should be publishing another book?”

I was a bit taken aback.  Why wouldn’t I be excited that the mind that strung together To Kill a Mockingbird was now going to release another work she wrote around the same time?  My mom referenced this article she’d read in the New York Times and said, “Just read it and let me know what you think.”

Jane Wilson graduated from the University of Michigan Law School, was a trial attorney for 25 years and has served on the faculty of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy on numerous occasions. She was an Adjunct Professor of Law at Cleveland State University for several years and served as an Interim Associate Professor of Law in the clinical program at Case Law School.
